Here’s another picture that won’t make it into the main gallery, so we’ll put it up here. It’s the Hulk and Doc Samson.

We’re crazy busy getting ready for Dragon-con and starting on a cool new project. We’ve got two new paintings for Dragon-con that we’ll post after the show.

We’re back from Gen-con and already gearing up for Dragon-con. Indianapolis in a nice looking city with some good architecture and lots of trees, but man, the smell? We had a good time at the show, Thursday was rough since we hadn’t slept Wednesday night.
Friday we got down to business and met with a lot of art directors at the show. We chatted with Jeff Carlisle in the art show. It was good to see him again after meeting him in San Diego. Friday night was a blast partying with our friends from the Party Hard Corps. We played their extremely fun drinking games all night long.
Saturday was our best day at the show. We got three very solid leads for work and an invitation to the White Wolf Industry party (thanks Brian). The party was held at a very cool bar called Club Industry. The club was so nice that I was disappointed to hear that it’s not open regularly and is only used for private parties. We had a great time getting loaded on free booze and dancing, but then it was back to our hotel for more fun with the PHC.
The Gen-con experience was a good one and we will definitely try and go again.

Our latest work for White Wolf on their Exalted RPG has been released. The book is called Compass of Terrestrial Directions vol.2—The West… we’ll just call it The West
and it has 18 portrait illustrations of ours. They are pretty tiny at 2 inches wide and tall, but came out really good in the book. I’ll add some of them to our gallery section soon.

One of the cards we did for the World of Warcraft trading card game by Upper Deck has been previewed on their site. This is one of four paintings we did for the upcoming “Fires of Outland” expansion. You can read about the card and it’s effects in the game in this preview article on the Upper Deck site.

Now, if you look closely like I did you’ll notice a little problem. Yeah, “Art by: Jaysin”, what about Embrio? Oops, due to a slip up at Upper Deck the wrong credit was used. Of course I fired off an E-mail right away to see if this could be corrected before they go to print, but it’s too late. So for all you collectors out there, there will be two versions of our cards once the next printing comes out with the corrected, “Art by : DPI Studios”.
As for Embrio, well I’m sure he’ll get over it. I like to think it’s karma getting him back for the slip up when only he was credited on the Blizzard fan art page

This is a cd cover illustration we did for a local radio station contest. We didn’t win but it’s too good to not show to anyone so I figured I’d put it up here.
