This piece was a half finished sketch Embrio had lying around the hard drive for quite a while. So, just in time for the San Diego Comic Con I got him to quickly finish the rest of it up and I painted it up in Painter.

If Lucas can do it, so can we. With Embrio “on assignment” in Japan right now he hasn’t had a lot of free time for new DPI Studios work. That has left me with a little free time to revisit one of our pictures.

The Heroes of New Hope is a commissioned piece we did for Ryan Pater. The image portrays the group of characters he and his friends have played in a D&D campaign spanning many years. The final image was printed for Ryan as a 39″ x 24″  stretched canvas and other members of the group received  smaller canvas prints. We hope the prints will serve as a reminder of all the good times they had in their gaming sessions over the years.

It’s been a little while since we talked about a new piece of ours. Amigos was finished just in time for the Calgary Expo this year. It is the third in our series of cyberpunk girls known to us as the Seed. Embrio wouldn’t let me name this one Rise of the Lycans so we settled on Amigos.
